In between each icon are the labels LIAR, EXPIATOR, and PUPPET.
The player is not told about what this screen represents or how to use it beyond this.

In the true endings of the game, it is revealed that the choice you were making was between Noa's different states, instead of just her moods. To disguise this reveal, the screen is called the "Emoji Mood Choice" in the game's walkthrough and elsewhere.
